  I will say that in the beginning the owner and staff were understanding and helpful, as we had already lost money from the Alfred Angelo bankruptcy. After me and the bridal party I was in had ordered from Providence Place, unforeseen circumstances arose and the wedding was called off. As I had only put my deposit down on my bridesmaid dress, I called the boutique to see what could be done. I ended up having to call the store 4 times, and on each occasion the associate could not answer my questions, so I was told each time that the owner would return my call- which never happened. After this had gone on for over 2 weeks, I finally did get to speak with the owner when I had called yet again, and I asked about the possibility of even just getting store credit. She informed me all sales were final and that nothing could be done, which I do respect. But the moment I questioned her once more and pointed out that the dress hadn't even left the store and no alterations had been done to it, she interrupted me to aggressively remind me that she had "done enough for you people" (referring to the bridal party I was with). I thanked her for the third time for what she had already done for us, and calmly asked her to not become aggressive or frustrated towards me as I was not becoming frustrated towards her. The interruptions only continued from her as well as her telling me that she had done enough. She also began speaking negatively about the bride, even though she had no idea what had happened to result in the wedding being called off. I ended the conversation before my emotions got the better of me. I have no say in how she speaks to people in her personal life, but when it comes to customer service, it is completely rude to interrupt people and speak to them in a condescending, frustrated way. I am thankful for what the company did when they were getting my money, but I am very disappointed with their lack of professionalism when they weren't getting my money.
